Otoplasty is a surgical procedure to improve the aesthetic appearance of the ears. It is often preferred for the correction of the shape of the ears or to adjust them to a closer position.

Otoplasty is performed under general anesthesia therefore the patient is asleep during the operation and feels no pain.

Patients can generally return to their daily activities within a few days after otoplasty.
